Stop Growing Your Business at the Speed of Your Savings

I'm Darren Weeks. Over my career, I've raised more than $500 million from private investors. Now I teach business owners how to fund their growth without depending on the bank.

The Problem

The Bank Is Not Your Only Option. It's Not Even Your Best One.

You go to the bank. They ask for collateral, your house, your personal signature. They take weeks. And if they say yes, you pay them for years. Meanwhile, the second location waits. The new equipment waits. Your growth waits.

What the bank asks for

  • Collateral
  • Your house
  • Your personal signature
  • Weeks of waiting
  • Years of payments

There is more private money looking for a good place to go than there are business owners asking for it the right way.

Money is looking for a home. The question is whether it finds yours.

Why We Exist

It doesn't take money to make money. Not your money, anyways.

Our Mission

We help business owners fund their growth with private capital, the right way: a clear deal, the right investors, and trust that lasts.

Our Vision

A world where good businesses stop waiting on the bank. Where every serious owner knows how to raise money from people who believe in them.

The Method

The Trust Capital Method

I've used this method for 25 years to raise money from investors, many of whom had never met me. It has three parts.

Part 1

The Deal

A confused mind never invests. If you can't explain your opportunity in two minutes, with clear numbers and a clear exit, nobody will trust you with a dollar. You'll learn to structure your deal so an investor understands it the first time.

And we do it the right way. You'll know the rules, and when to bring in your attorney and your accountant.

Is This for You?

This is for you if

  • You own a business with real revenue.
  • You need capital to grow: a second location, equipment, a property, an acquisition.
  • You're tired of waiting on the bank.
  • You're ready to learn a process and do the work.

This isn't for you if

  • You're looking for a loan.
  • You want free money or a shortcut.
  • You don't own a business yet.
  • You want someone to raise the money for you.

If you're looking for a loan, this isn't for you. If you're ready to raise capital the right way, keep reading.

From Four People in a Room for 60 to More Than $500 Million Raised

I didn't start with money. I grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, in a family that wasn't rich. At six, I told my parents I wanted to be rich. They told me to go to university.

  1. Age 10

I made my first investment at about 10 years old. At 15, I was flipping burgers at McDonald's for $3.30 an hour.

  2. University

I bought my first property while still at university, without using my own money. I asked ten different bankers how to do it until one showed me.

  3. 2001

By then I owned 12 properties. That year I read Rich Dad Poor Dad in one night and trained to run Robert Kiyosaki's Cashflow game.

  4. The first event

I rented a room for 60 people. Four showed up. I kept going. Then 7 came, then 11, then about 30.

  5. Canada

Those events grew into a group of companies that reached hundreds of thousands of people and made the PROFIT 200 list of Canada's fastest-growing companies.

  6. Rich Dad Advisor

Robert Kiyosaki reached out after hearing about a Canadian running his events. I spent 17 years as his Rich Dad Advisor on raising capital. He pushed me to write The Art of Raising Capital and wrote the foreword.

  7. 2008 to 2012

While most people were running from real estate, I helped my investors buy into close to 5,000 apartment units. Investors got paid first. That rule never changed.

  8. 2018

I moved to Mexico. I didn't speak the language. I didn't know the market. I still helped build a regulated real estate investment platform.

  9. Today

More than $500 million raised from thousands of investors over my career, in multiple countries and languages, with more than 4,000 in Mexico alone. Now I teach business owners to do the same for their business.

Raising capital doesn't depend on the language. It depends on having a system.
